A few practical details

To let us know when you're coming
Well, the idea is to bring together all our Friends, who we hope will be very numerous.
So there's a bit of organising to do to make sure you all have enough to eat and drink...
Would you take a few minutes to register on the Google form below between now and 30 March?
Thanks a lot!

To come and meet us?
Chaussenac? Chaussenac? but where is this village?
For the few who have never visited us in our little Cantalien paradise, we're between the villages of Mauriac and Pleaux, about a 6-hour drive from Paris, and more precisely:

A large car park will be organised on site for public transport, it's more rock&roll, so give us a call if you're thinking of embarking on this adventure ,

The weather?
sun? no sun?
It's hard to predict, and of course, if it rains, the programme is a bit compromised ...
(but the wedding is bound to take place, phew!)
So there's no choice, and depending on your beliefs, say your prayers to the Poor Clares, burn some thyme, bury an egg, etc.

To please Camille and Alexis?
This young couple have been living together for a long time (am I shocking you??), so they don't need vases, teaspoons, sofas or tea sets.
On the other hand, they're crazy about hiking and travelling, so a contribution to the fund would be great:

This will make them super happy, thanks for them!

Nearby accommodation
You'll find a (small) choice of hotels, Airbnb and gîtes in the area, but BE CAREFUL, this is the weekend of 15 August, which is undoubtedly the busiest of the year.
Here is a selection of 'decent' establishments (without expecting great luxury, we're in the depths of the Cantal and luxury is in our landscapes):
- Hotel Ecus de France à Mauriac

- Le Saint Mary à Mauriac

For walks and picnics
If you agree, we will set up an ephemeral WhatsApp group for all participants so that we can pass on last-minute information (particularly about the weather), precise meeting points and catch up with any "lost" or "latecomers"
.
Dress code
CASUAL!
We're in the countryside, and wedding or no wedding, it's all about getting together, going for a walk, having a drink, picnicking, swimming, having a laugh, dancing... in short, a whole host of uncomfortable activities in a suit, tie, dress, hat, heels... you know what we mean, don't you?
