Here's the programme of festivities!

Friday
In the morning: put on your Pataugas and set off to explore the hiking trails in the heart of the Auvergne Volcanoes Park.
Departure at 11.00am from the car park, just after Anglars de Salers

(We will provide a picnic and drinks, but you will have to help us carry them ...)
Late afternoon: Come and take part in Chaussenac's famous "gourmet Fridays" in the village square.
From 7.00 p.m., there will be stalls selling our local products (aligot, truffade, sausages, bouriols, etc.) for you to taste on the spot (budget 10-15€ per person).

Saturday morning
We swap the pataugas for a nice swimming costume and head off for a picnic on the banks of la Maronne.
Rendez-vous at around 10:30 am on Longayroux beach

Swimming, lounging, sport, boating...
But be warned: we've got a surprise in store for you between 11am and 12.30pm, so be there!
Once again, we'll take care of the picnic...

Saturday afternoon
This is serious business!
It's THE highlight of the weekend, because at 5pm, we're accompanying Camille and Alexis to the Town Hall to witness their engagement and share in their happiness, and the icing on the cake is that Father "Ofthebride"will be celebrating the nuptials 🤗
What's next?
Well, afterwards, we'll drink a glass, a pinte or any other beverage of your choice to their health in the school playground, just in front of the Mairie.

Saturday evening
After all that excitement, it is time for refreshments
We'll meet up in the garden at around 7.00 p.m., dressed in casual clothes (as we will for the whole weekend, in fact) to have another drink or two, and enjoy one (or more) piglets on the spit prepared by Camille (the other Camille, the caterer!).
And then we'll take part in the traditional torchlight procession to the village hall, where we'll dance, dance, dance...

Sunday morning
Are you still with us?
We'll be having a little brunch from 11am, still in the garden, with coffee / tea / pastries / cheeses (you know Cantal?) / cakes...
